Our 5acre property is located 4kms from the charming Samford Village and 8kms from the spectacular Mt Glorious Village boasting views of Moreton Bay and rainforest hiking tracks.
We live in a small studio on the property at the front of the block and can be called upon if you need our assistance, we may be seen in the adjoining paddock attending the sheep, or if required maintaining the grounds, however, you we wont disturb you unless needed.
The main house consists of 4 large bedrooms plus two living spaces a large country kitchen, recently renovated bathroom and new ensuite.
There is small studio, with private access that is used mainly for storage, however, occasionally a family member who works interstate may use this as a base when they are in Brisbane.
The studio is separated from the main house by a large breezeway and has been designed and screened to ensure that the main house guests have complete privacy.
The pool is for the use of the house guests only.
The Latin Shack, a quaint coffee hub enjoyed by locals is just opposite the Lifestyle Centre- Nursery, Cafe and an interesting selection of boutique shops is less than 5 minutes "down the road."
The Samford region lies to the northwest of Brisbane and is made up of Samford Village and Samford Valley. A picturesque and hilly area, Samford was first settled in the mid-1850s and is now a place many hobby farmers call home, being one of the closest semi-rural acreage townships to Brisbane.
It’s located close to the city, but feels a world away with its rolling hills, wide, open spaces and country charm. Samford has managed to maintain a buzz around its café scene, so you’ll find yourself wanting to linger longer for a second coffee before wandering next door to the local produce shop for some of Samford’s freshest food. You’ll be keenly aware of the community vibe in Samford, with real country hospitality around every corner and over every hill.
Samford’s welcoming atmosphere, natural beauty and proximity to both Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast make it a great place to stop for the day, night or even longer.

The closest train station is Ferny Hills, the final stop on the NW line.
Although there is no public transport in the area, taxis and Uber now head " over the range" regularly. It takes approximately 7 minutes from Ferny Grove station to Samford Village and another 5 minutes up Mt Glorious Road to our property.
You do require a vehicle to get around the local area as the walking tracks do not lead safely along Mt Glorious Road for the un-initiated.
