Great place
We loved our stay at the lady Helene. As a party of three, it was perfect having our own bed/bathroom. Everything was extremely clean and there were plenty towels and pillows. It was close to King Street, where all the action is and we felt safe in the neighborhood. The kitchen was well appointed and one could cook a meal if one desired. But why would you with so many good restaurants around. The only negative I can say about this Airbnb is that the ceiling is not very well soundproofed. We could hear every footstep, which at times was annoying. But it did not ruin our stay. We had a wonderful time overall.
We absolutely loved our stay! The home with a very clean and decorated adorably! Upon check-in, two of the three bedrooms were locked. But StayDuvet responded quickly with the codes to unlock the bedrooms. The outside road noise and noise from the renters staying in the unit above us was greater than expected. But other than that, everything was wonderful!
Our stay at Lady Helene 1 was wonderful! The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. It looks just like the pictures! It was perfect for our family of four, and made it possible for our two daughters to each have their own room and bathroom. I give it five stars! The following info is for guests unfamiliar with the Charleston area. This unit is located on a busy street corner, and from two of the bedrooms it was easy to hear street noise and conversations of people walking by. Also, this is a bottom floor unit, and you definitely hear the guests walking above you. The neighborhood seemed safe enough, although it’s not the nicest section of town. Once again, these were not game-changers for us and we enjoyed our stay!
Had a great stay here. Small issue checking in that 2 of the bedrooms were locked, but administration was very responsive and quickly helped us gain access to the other rooms. Location was great, very walkable to many delicious restaurants
