Great location with wonderful views across the valley, especially watching the mist rising in the morning. We enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the deck soaking in the rural atmosphere - sheep and cattle in the nearby paddocks, and on the first morning being greeted by a very friendly pooch! Since there were not any street of other bright lights, the stars were spectacular lighting up the night sky. A very convenient location - midway between the Bay of Islands on the east, and Hokianga and the Kauri forests to the west. We would love to visit again, and would highly recommend Old Valley Views.
