This is our home away from home and where creativity can flow. Local art (and not so local) adorn the walls, along with musical instruments tuned and ready. The shelf is full of books to inspire and entertain and games in the closet along with puzzles to satisfy any mood. The kitchen is well-equipped, so if you want to make a nice dinner, we hope you will find everything you will need. The former owner took the walls back down to the old layers of wall covering and in some places, embellished them. We fell in love with the warmth it brings to the feeling of the house. Anyone we have had over has just been in awe of the unique look. The kitchen and bathroom have been painted and tastefully updated to make it the ideal place to enjoy your time. The kitchen offers a smaller size electric over so please be aware of it if you are planning on baking large items. Please note that there are train tracks a couple of blocks away from the house. You can hear the train horn quite well from the house, and the train does run during the night as well. If you are concerned that it will disrupt your sleep, please bring earplugs.
