Bring the family! In a small gated community right on the beach in Barra Velha, this townhouse is huge. Beds are comfortable, some bathrooms have his-and-her sinks AND his-and-her showers. Open concept common space on ground level is great for socializing, meals and TV. Wifi is good, although a little weak on top floor. We prepped and ate all our meals at the house. Outdoor grill and sitting area are great. We used the shared pool, which is right next to the house. Not heated, but pretty big and well-maintained. Owners provided two tags that allowed access to the beach, which is a one-minute walk from the house. Biggest drawback is the noise from the highway which runs right by the gated community. The ground floor is pretty well insulated from the highway noise, but it’s more noticeable on the upper floors where the bedrooms are. Overall, a great choice for a beach stay with a big group.
