What a wonderful house this is and the location is brilliant, just a 10 minute walk into the heart of Franschhoek. Staying here, you have the best of both worlds - the privacy and freedom of self catering but the benefit of on-site staff that help with housekeeping and looking after the gardens. The braii and pizza oven are fabulous, the pool was clean and the house was absolutely pristine, with a really well stocked kitchen for home catering. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to anybody looking for a relaxing time out of the city. The outside area is shared but there's more than enough space and privacy; if anything, it was lovely to have some neighbours to chat to over morning coffee. This really is a great place, if we can, we will be back before the year is out. If you are in any doubt, please rest assured that the house lives up to the description and photos, and then some. I haven’t seen a house more beautiful than this! Want to write a small verse for the house - So clean and organised that words can’t do justice Every nook and corner looked aesthetic From beginning to the end, kept discovering things From clay oven to cookies, all had her warmth Felt like that host was full of wings (for design and luxury) Haven’t seen a better home, can’t call it a house but truly a home A home that was far from mine But truly felt only mine! Guys, highly recommended place!

Marlicia is a great host. We felt like we were visiting her home not in an impersonal B&B I would highly recommend her home. She made us biscuits and rusks and left us wine in the fridge. We had a wonderful time. Her home is super comfortable and beautiful and central to everything and she is a very warm host!

Amazing place! So much bigger than it looks in the pictures. It is so spacious and beautiful. We had an amazing time. Cant wait to come back.
