We had a lovely stay, taking my Mum back to the village her family came from and she spent the war. There where 6 of us. We had seen reports of the steep stairs and with elderly parents we where a bit concerned. Jo sent us plenty of pictures and we decided to risk it. The house was in a lovely location, with a short walk to the shops and fish and chip shop and a even shorter walk to the beach. Aberaeron is a lovely small harbour town with many interesting little independent shops, nothing like the usual High street and a great location for exploring that part of Wales. The house was clean and well presented throughout

Stayed 3 days and used the house as a base for our visit to the area. The house has a touch of luxury about it, although not perfect. a) The sound of people talking in the kitchen was heard all over the ground floor, including when listening to the television, as the open-plan design and hard wall/floor finishes caused the sound to carry. b) I know we don't want children to be able to lock themselves into toilets/bathrooms, but no locks or way of telling people that someone was using one of the two toilets/showers was testing. Surely it's possible to have a notice on the outside of both bathroom doors to communicate this? Otherwise, it's a nice property to stay in and we may choose this house again, when visiting the area.

We had a great stay, Jo was on hand to help and always replied promptly. The house was very clean and comfortable, the beds were super comfy too! It would have been nice to have had a few Christmas decorations up, I checked in advance and took some with me so no big deal. Really nice touch to leave a welcome hamper! Thanks again for a great stay, would highly recommend 😊
