Travelling to Bexleyheath Town Centre, Shopping Centre, Going Out and Restaurants
- Take bus B13 from outside the house towards Bexleyheath (5 minutes); or
- Walk to the Bexleyheath Town Centre (15 minutes)
Travelling to Abbey Wood station for the Elizabeth Line for fast connections into Central London (Liverpool Street station or Paddington):
- Take a taxi (e.g. Uber), c. 7 minutes or more depending on traffic; or
- Walk to Broadway, Bexleyheath (10 minutes) then take any bus to Abbey Wood (e.g. B11) to get to Abbey Wood station (20 minutes)
Getting to Central London (e.g. London Bridge)
- Go to Bexleyheath Station – 15-20 minutes walk or a 3-min taxi ride (e.g. Uber). Then take a train from Bexleyheath Station to London Bridge (30 minutes); or
- Take B13 bus outside the house to New Eltham Station (20 minutes), then take a train from New Eltham to London Bridge (20 minutes)
- Please note you can use your credit / debit cards as a contactless payment on all the busses and trains to get to London Bridge and while travelling within Central London or you can get an Oyster Card (travelcard) from any local shop, which will also be valid all around
Travelling from Heathrow Airport:
- Take a taxi (e.g. Uber), 1:20 hours or more depending on traffic; or
- Take the Elizabeth Line from Heathrow and travel to Abbey Wood station (c. 1 hour), then from Abbey Wood station take a bus to Bexleyheath (e.g. B11) to come to Broadway, Bexleyheath (c. 30 minutes) and walk from Broadway to our address (c. 10 minutes)
Travelling from Gatwick Airport:
- Take a taxi (e.g. Uber), 45 minutes or more depending on traffic; or
- Take the Thameslink to London Bridge and follow the instructions above to get from London Bridge to the house (total journey time c. 1:30 hours)
Travelling from Stansted Airport:
- Take a taxi (e.g. Uber), 50 minutes or more depending on traffic; or
- From Stansted Airport Coach Station, take the National Express to Bexleyheath, this coach will drop you off at Danson Underpass (10 minutes walk from the house), the total journey will take 1:40 minutes; or
- There are several trains that go into Central London from Stansted, once at London Bridge follow the instructions above to get to the house (journey time c. 2 hours)
Travelling from City Airport:
- Take a taxi (e.g. Uber), 35 minutes or more depending on traffic; or
- Take the DLR to Woolwich Arsenal station and from there take the 96 bus to arrive at Bexleyheath (Crook Log) and then walk from there to the house (journey time c. 50 minutes); or
- Alternatively from Woolwich Arsenal can take busses 51 and then B13 to arrive directly at the house
Travelling from the O2 Arena
- Take a taxi (e.g. Uber), 15 minutes or more depending on traffic; or
- Bus 132 to Blackfen School For Girls and then take B13 bus to arrive at the house (journey time c. 50 minutes, depending on traffic)
