What an adorable spot. Comfy bed, lovely little gas fireplace, plenty of hot water, and a super-efficient tiny hidden kitchenette. Everything one needs as a home base to explore the Burren. Access to pubs, restaurants, grocery, and delicious coffee are just outside the doorway. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I unfortunately had to leave early due to a pre-existing factor. The host was beyond kind and understanding. Very easy to communicate with. The space is well located within walking distance to everything, above a community center- a fact I quite liked, and in a historic old building.

For Kinvara, the location doesn't get much better. It's on the main street, close to great bars - Green's, Tully's, Connolly's - and one great new restaurant - Upstairs at Connolly's. As for the place itself, it is comfortable and, thanks to many electric heaters, warm in winter. The double bed is in a loft, accessible via steep stairs. The low ceiling means one person, in the double bed, will have difficulty accessing the far side and sitting up. Those over 6-foot tall will need to bend to avoid banging their heads. The couch was dusty and quite uncomfortable to sit on. There is a nice outdoor back yard. However, the door mat was filthy. Access from the main street is via two doors; the inside one only opens on one half and is therefore very narrow. Using keys to unlock and lock both doors every time is finicky and a bit awkward. There was no contact from the host "Kathryn", however Anna was responsive and helpful (although we did not meet her in person). Location trumps minor gripes.
