My wife and I enjoyed this location. The house was nice and in a quiet area. The boat ramps were within 10 miles and easily accessible. Thank you and we truly enjoyed our stay.
Tim contacted me and said he and his wife had cleaned that morning and the house was available for us but the knob on washer was broke and we could only use one setting. When we arrived the key was where he said and we opened the door and went in. The house was musty smelling so I started all the ceiling fans and turned on the air conditioning. One ceiling fan light globe had lots of bugs in it. Walking through the living room there were spider webs on the mantel with spiders. When I went to the kitchen to put drinks in the dirty refrigerator I noticed crumbs on the island counter and dust plus dust on counter around sink and a stink bug on kitchen wall. It was late and I was tired. I wiped everything down and went to bed. In the morning we left and came back late when I was setting up the coffee maker for morning a COCKROACH ran across the counter. I messaged Tim. In the morning I removed sheets and took dirty towels to laundry room and left. DO NOT STAY HERE!
Located on old farm owned and operated by seven generations of my family since 1797. Very private, quiet and isolated from neighbors. Property is surrounded by 100-200+ year-old pecan, oak and pine trees.
