Our family enjoyed the cabin, Was very peaceful and secluded. Had everything you needed. GPS took us straight there with no issues. Will be back when we can bring the whole family!

Cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. The sound of the stream and the private surroundings were great. The description of the drive in for 4 wheel drive was very accurate. Also the cabin was about 30 to 40 minutes away from local restaurants and food so pick up what you need before you get there. Great way to unplug and enjoy family. Wish it was a little closer to attractions but the cabin and grounds more than made up for it.

This is a beautiful home tucked away in a newly developing sub division deep in the mountains of Western North Carolina. You do need 4WD (at least AWD) to get up the driveway. Once you arrive, you are surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains and the brook, with the lake not too far away. The home has lots of modern amenities and it makes fully relaxing very easy!

New listing … new home! It’s like someone asked Disney to build a personal upscale wilderness lodge with all the amenities set in the perfect mountain forest setting, . This was a reading retreat and I couldn’t have asked for a better place. Rushing mountain stream, covered verandas with fireplace. Open fire pit and two more inside. Fully equipped kitchen, Weber Grill outdoor eat spaces, x2. Two things to be aware for best experience: pack and carry all the food requirements. Sapphire and Cashiers is available and plenty of restaurant options, but 35/40 minutes one way. Two, the steep grades both in and out are not exaggerated a lot of fun to maneuver but four wheel drive is pretty much an essential. DAC is helpful. In credible property in an awesome setting. Looking forward to next July. Ron Mahn
