Bjorknas Lodge is located 36 km from Jokkmokk and 2,5 hours from Luleå Airport. Kvikkjokk is the entrance to the three big national parks .
Restaurants and shopping is located in the town Jokkmokk. In summer you can buy a fishing card that entitles you to fish in hundreds of lakes, streams and rivers. Fishing gear and boat can be rented.
In winter you can go snowmobiling in the surroundings or go to Kvikkjokk and up the majestic Tarra Valley. Snowmobiles can be rented.
If you like to go skiing there are two great resorts nearby, 45 min drive to Kåbdalis and 1 hour drive to Dundret Gallivare.
If you are a skilled freerider you can go heli-skiing at massifs Tarrekasie (1828 masl) and Staika (1795 masl). Substantial drop heights of between 900 and 1350 meters are offered with up to 7 km of off-piste runs in untouched high alpine environment.

Even if Bjorknas is located above the Arctic circle it is easy to go there. Fly to Lulea from Stockholm (several connections every day). Then rent a car and drive for 2,5 hours and you will find yourself in Europe´s last wilderness.
