The perfect rooftop apartment in the center of Modena, very near the duomo and patio was so nice to relax after a day of walking. Maddalena was so responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Our party includes two little children and two adults. The place was clean, spacious and had a great location. Responsive host and even some thoughtful welcome gifts. We had breakfast on the balcony with all the fresh goodies we bought at the nearby market every morning. Two things to mention to set my review apart. The bedrooms get a bit noisy due to bustling location which didn’t bother us or the kids. And about the previously mentioned the 5 story walk up… my 3 year old did it at least 10 times. If you know what you sign up for it’s not a big deal at all. Thank you for having us, we will recommend this apartment to family and friends for years to come!

We really enjoyed our stay in Modena at Riccardo's apartment! Riccardo & his Mom Maddalena were very responsive & helpful. Some clarifications from a fellow Airbnb Superhost/Guest: 1) The greeting and tour was wonderful. Very thoughtful including wine and cheese and a family balsamic! Coffee machine worked well and there were a reasonable number of coffee pods provided. 2) This apartment is wonderful for fit guests, but it is really on the 5th floor (since Italians apparently do not count the first floor) which is 81+ or more steps, and an issue for our guests/friends in their mid/upper 80s. 2) If guests are using the bedroom with twin beds, the wooden cross pieces are very creaky/noisy and need to be replaced, or the beds need to be replaced. 3) The terrace is wonderful but not as pictured. There are neighbors immediately to the right, planters, and a view that is different, more obstructed from the photos in the listing. Please be offer a current photo to future guests.

The place is very central, close to everything even the market for food. It’s super clean and looks exactly like the photos. Riccardo very helpful and friendly

Our hosts were very responsive and met us at a time that worked for our schedule. They had a little treat and bottle of lambrusco for us upon arrival and allowed us to drop off our bags early. The location is perfect- so close to everything, yet quiet and private. It does require you to walk up several flights of stairs, as it's on the top floor, but the views are great, and we didn't mind the extra bit of exercise. Definitely recommend!
