The Garden hideaway is a spacious and serene space in a leafy suburb. Wether you long for a peaceful haven to come home to, after exploring everything that beautiful Cape Town has to offer, or if you need a quiet space to work, during a business trip or study trip, this is where you will find it. The Garden Hideaway is a private suite, that is connected to the main house. It is securely separated from the main house, via a locked inter-leading door. The is a microwave, kettle and bar fridge in the unit, as well as cutlery and crockery. There is a laundry available in the garage, as well as wash up facilities.

Lovely stay. Louise was always available to answer every question I had. The space was so tranquil, and quiet. Most importantly, clean and spacious. The perfect stay.
A very beautiful place, in a safe neighbourhood. Perfect for getaways, walkable distance to shops. Clean space and peaceful place. The host is very accommodative and friendly, my parents really enjoyed their stay and complimented the place.

We had the best stay at the Garden Hideaway. The place was even more stunning than the pictures, they don’t do justice. Lousie was friendly and responsive. Staying at her place was an absolute experience and I will definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a stay in Cape Town.

Welgemoed is a lovely, leafy suburb in the Northern part of Cape Town, close to the Durbanville wine route and mountainbike heaven. Just off the N1, it is located 20kms from Cape Town city centre and 15kms from the nearest beaches.
We are situated with easy access to Tygerberg teaching hospital, the Stellenbosch business school and a number of shopping malls. There is also a convenient shopping area with a Woolworths, wine boutique, a restaurant and a Vida, nearby.
Uber is available from Welgemoed, but it is most convenient to have your own transport, so we recommend a rental car, if you are flying into Cape Town.
