Der Aufenthalt im Haus von Courtney war insgesamt sehr schön. Der Zustand der Wohnung entspricht den Fotos und auch das Badezimmer ist sehr schön und sauber. Die Lage ist auch gut: Fast gleich nebenan mit Countdown ein großer Supermarkt, so dass man nie ohne Essen da steht. Auch der Bahnhof ist in unter 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, von dort kommt man nach Wellington rein oder nach Porirua. Auch die Bushaltestelle ist gleich hinter dem Bahnhof, so dass man einfach nach Johnsonville kommt. Der größte Kritikpunkt ist gleichzeitig genau dieser Bahnhof bzw die Bahnlinie. Mehrmals (vielleicht 5 mal) am Tag fährt der Güterzug von Porirua nach Wellington, der wirklich wahnsinnig laut ist. Dazu war während unseres Aufenthalts (Februar 2024) eine Baustelle direkt nebenan, die teilweise wirklich sehr laut war und wodurch das ganze Haus gewackelt hat. Wurde gegen Ende Februar aber schon besser, so dass es für die Zukunft irrelevant sein mag.

Lovely townhouse, in a great location. Close to train station, and easy access to motorway. Supermarket right next door. Very homely. Courtney quick to respond to messages.

Great spot! Me and my son stayed for 5 nights, and we found it peaceful, close enough (by car) to the city, spacious, and just all round lovely. It is clearly someones home that they wir bnb when they are not there (well, thats what it feels like anyway), so it has that homely feel with everything you could need. The area is so quiet, too! We will 100% stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Courtney’s place. It was light and bright and very convenient to the local supermarket and motorway. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed. The coffee machine with delicious beans was a real plus!
