Gaia Sanctuary exceeded our expectations. Was such a peaceful stay and lovely people!

Beautiful camping area next to the river with newly constructed facilities. The communal area was well maintained and cleaned every day. We stayed in one of the bell tents that was erected on a raise timber deck which did well to keep out the rain although we found it difficult to ventilate after 3nights of rain. We took the canoe out on a sunny day and because of the strong current, were swept down river and banked at the neighbouring resort where we were gratefully picked up by the owners. This sanctuary bodes well for summer weather!

I have to say this was one of the best weekends away that I have had. From the glamping tent, hammock, and the natural world all around. With the river in the background totally surrounded by trees. Every moment was relaxing and perfect. The facilities were clean and well organized. The owners and staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Great local recommendations and a lay of the land from Taryn. We will definitely go back. Can I give more stars!?!? 🌟
