This cosy one-bedroom house in Fundão is perfect for couples looking to stay in the rural countryside. The property is close to various attractions (e.g. Parque Verde, Palácio do Picadeiro), good restaurants and shops, and the Fundao station is just 7 minutes away, so guests can easily travel and explore the city! Welcome to my house! Located in the beautiful Quinta de S. Miguel, this cottage is perfect for couples, friends, or solo travelers. The 'Casa da Chaminé' has this designation due to the unusual height of its chimney in relation to the building, which gives it a very peculiar identity. With a queen-sized bed, it comfortably sleeps up to 2 people. The bedroom contains a queen-sized bed with complimentary hotel-quality linens to ensure guests sleep comfortably. The kitchenette is fully equipped with modern conveniences, such as a microwave and a toaster, so feel free to cook a light homemade meal. Aside from the houses, you can enjoy plenty of shared spaces, such as the pool, lawn, shed, etc. Food is not allowed in these shared spaces. However, please feel free to have your meals inside the chalet, on the respective decks, or in the area next to the grill when available. The large, shared outdoor pool can be used between April and September, from 09:00 to 21:00, when it's nice and warm. Unfortunately, the pool is not open between October to March. It is recommended coming here with your car as we do provide one free parking per chalet. Please note that, occasionally, it may be necessary to use the washing machine in the antechamber of the external WC supporting the pool. Security circuits with cameras (CCTV) and alarms are in the exterior areas. The home is always professionally cleaned for your comfort. Enjoy your stay!

If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, this is it. The owner was a great host. He made us feel at home on the property. I just wished we would have meet on our last day earlier, he gives out some home made olive oil as a parting gift. Also, had it been warmer the pool looked amazing.
Lugar incrível. Limpo, organizado e tem absolutamente tudo. Único problema foi a internet que não funcionou e tive que sair às 4 da manhã para voltar a Lisboa por não conseguir conectar em uma reunião. E o barulho da casa ao lado é um pouco ruim, não ouvimos absolutamente tudo que falam e quando pisam. No mais, tudo ok!
We left after one night. The appartement was really too small for us and from our litttle appartement we had no view at the surrounding nature. The pictures are taken with a wide angle camera and we had no notion that our cottage would be surrounded by the other houses on the property. So we had a lot of noise from the other guests next door. I can imagine that during summer families with children love this place. It is well maintained and has a wonderful pool and playing ground. But it being really close to the city of Fundão it had no charm at all for us.
