We rented the property for a family celebration weekend and it was perfect for that. Spacious but homely and very well equipped with comfy bedrooms, good bath/shower rooms and a lovely big social area. The house is in a pretty rural location but an easy drive to Stonehaven, Aberdeen and Deeside. Rachel was a great communicator and very kindly arranged early access. We loved our stay and would recommend it for a friends or family gathering.

I booked the house for some friends to stay and get together after a funeral. There is lots of space, a good kitchen and we instantly felt at home. If you're looking for somewhere that can accomodate lots of people, whilst allowing them Al their own space - its ideal!

We booked Rachel’s Georgian mansion for 3 days over Christmas to host a large family get together. It couldn’t have been better! Rachel had decorated the house wonderfully for Christmas, it was such a cozy and festive space to spend time together with family. There were lots of thoughtful touches: dog bowl and a baby chair provided custom to our booking, even a small gift for my 2yo daughter already under the Christmas tree, crackers at an already dressed dining table. Just lovely! The layout is very handy for a big group, with the bedrooms spread out around the central social space. The kitchen was excellently equipped. Lovely Georgian features inside, what a special space. And the surrounding woodland 👌🏻 Checkin by lockbox was very easy, and we were extremely grateful of Rachel’s flexibility with checkin and checkout time. Rachel was very responsive regarding our inquiries before and during our booking. Thanks for a fantastic stay, we hope to be back!
