Fantastic place to be for the eclipse !

After the second night stay, my husband awoke with several red bites on his body. The bites were very itchy and bothersome. When I notified the owner of the situation, he refunded $200. Our two night stay was $938.66. When I further explained to him the severity, as we found more bugs, he said he would contact the exterminator before making other decisions. I would not accept any other refund unless it was a full compensation for our stay. Apparently after the exterminator’s visit, Shawn, the home owner, offered me another $350 credit, plus future night stays at a 50% discount(If I did not leave a bad review). If you find bedbugs and it bitten in a hotel, you would not receive a % discount! This should be no different, but it did not matter because Shawn has several rental properties and that was his final offer. Bedbugs in an Air B&B is unacceptable and a public health hazard. I am still afraid to bring my pillow and other personal items back in my home because of the danger.

Loved the house and community. The house was very clean and had everything that was needed. I don’t have on complaint and would definitely stay at Shawn’s place again. The area is quiet and private but yet within a 5 minute drive of a hospital, grocery store, downtown and much more.

This Villa home was wonderful. It’s located in an upscale neighborhood and has a gated entrance for additional security. Very spacious and comfortable. Would definitely look for it again when in this area.
