We loved the apartment. It was beautiful, well-appointed, clean, easy check-in and check out, simple parking, and the location in the city was the best. You can walk to everything. Communication was also fabulous. As previously mentioned by others, we didn’t love the bed - it was small and rather uncomfortable, and the pillows were uncomfortable (super thick) as well. And the window coverings in the kitchen and family room did nothing for privacy at night. But there is a black-out window treatment in the bedroom. Other than that, it was fantastic.
A great place to stay in Golden! It was clean, well updated, in walking distance to everything, and felt very safe. The apartment was really nice and we couldn’t have asked for more. The host was super responsive and even allowed us to check in a little early when our travel plans changed. Great place all around!

Looking to recharge in the mountains? Hop onto I-70 to experience breathtaking hikes and views within an hour. One of Colorado's main draws is Rocky Mountain National Park, which makes for a great day trip. Drive a little over an hour through a dramatic canyon for a day of hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife viewing. Depending on your destination, skiing is 1-3 hours away. Locals head to Echo Mountain, Eldora (near Boulder), or Loveland (near Georgetown) for a more low-key experience. We're also within a couple of hours of Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain.
This location is the perfect jumping-off point for exploring the best of Golden and surrounding towns, the Rockies, and even Denver if you’re craving the hustle and bustle of the big city!
The Rocky Mountains are to the West, and Denver is South of where you will be staying. I-70 West will take you into the mountains and straight to the ski areas, while you can hop on I-25 to access Fort Collins to the North and Colorado Springs to the South. The 36 takes you to Boulder and eventually the Rocky Mountain National Park gateway towns of Lyons and Estes Park.
Downtown Golden is a highly walkable city. In addition to nearby Clear Creek Trails, Washington Avenue and the historic 12th street neighborhood are great locations to stroll. A car is recommended if you will be exploring the mountains. For those without a car, we recommend utilizing Uber or Lyft to reach further destinations in and around Golden. Get exploring!
