Newly furnished contemporary 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom double story apartment in trendy Sea Point. Ideally positioned in a quiet side street, a short walk to countless restaurants, coffee shops, retailers and the popular Sea Point Promenade. Just a 10 minute drive to Table Mountain and the world-famous beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay. The building features a 500 m2 communal rooftop entertainment deck with a pool, BBQ facilities and seating areas. This two-story loft-style apartment offers stunning, contemporary designer furnishing and finishes throughout. It features a modern open-plan kitchen with an island, dining area and lounge which opens onto a large balcony. The kitchen is fitted with high-end appliances, and the living area has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The main bedroom is on the second floor and has an extra-length queen size bed, en suite bathroom and a private balcony. The second bedroom has a double bed with ample storage space and a separate bathroom. Other Amenities Include : Uncapped WiFi Netflix 2 x Covered & Secure Parking Bays UPS for the router during load-shedding

This could be such a lovely unit as it is quite modern and the location is great, though sadly, there were too many pitfalls whoch lead to a rather uncomfortable stay - in particular, the balcony access door could not be locked and Propr did not repair this leaving me with sleepless nights - this is South Africa after all. The dryer did not work; there was no dishcloth in unit; the bin was tiny; when I moved the kids bed against the wall (so they don't fall of their bed), the floor below was extremely dirty and dusty; the shower shelf was too high; on arrival, the unit was still being cleaned (though to be fair, they did allow me to check in from 2pm) Communication was bad - I waited up until late for the maintenance team to arrive, only to be informed close to midnight that they were no longer coming. I was offered a 10% discount off my next stay due to all the inconveniences, though it's of no use as I don't think I will be back.

The Airbnb is beautiful and I can recommend staying there. A few things to mention: the check-in needs to be timed as it is in person (which isn’t really necessary) so it doesn’t leave much room for flexibility. The smaller room doesn’t have any windows, so it’s very dark. The Airbnb also gets quite warm in summer.

Sea Point is a vibrant suburb of Cape Town, just outside the city centre between Green Point and Bantry Bay.
Sea Point is built around Main Road (of which Regent Rd is an extension), with its many shops (Woolworths, Spar and Checkers), takeaways, restaurants (including the fantastic La Mouette), bars and coffee shops - all within walking distance. Just about everything you need is found in this part of the city.
The popular Sea Point promenade runs the length of Sea Point’s beachfront, from Bantry Bay to Mouille Point and is a hub of activity, particularly in the early morning or late afternoons to watch the sun set right next to the crystal waters of the Atlantic Seaboard. A number of children’s parks run alongside the promenade. There is also an outdoor gym and a chlorinated swimming pool at the pavilion. It's a great place for running, leisurely strolls, picnics, people watching and taking in the beauty around you.
The City Centre, V&A Waterfront and beautiful Clifton and Camps Bay beaches are all a short drive away.

Many amenities are within walking distance and taxis or Uber readily service the area.
A bus stop for a popular MyCiti bus route is nearby. This is a reliable bus service with routes taking you to the inner City. It connects to other routes going to the V&A Waterfront, Clifton & Camps Bay beaches, as well as Hout Bay fishing village.

The red open top "hop-on hop-off" City Sightseeing bus is a great way to get to know and explore our city and it's surrounds.
