Umusa lodge is a lovely little family-led accommodation in the Kosi Bay area. the room was equipped with everything we needed and we were welcomed very warmly. the children loved running around the big garden and the bar offered cold drinks which were a treat after a long journey. just a note that it is actually not two separate bed rooms but one whole open plan only divided by room dividers

Philip and Nicolene are the best hosts ever. His directions was spot on and they even did 2 loads of washing for our 2 couples. The unit was wonderful, clean with perfect beds and lovely bedding. The kitchen is very well equiped. Sold us some charcoal and wood to have our own braai. We highly recommend Logde Umusa for more than one night. We (2 kids 2 adult's) stayed at Philip's place after looking for a quiet place to base ourselves amd explore the Kosi Bay area. It was fabulous. Philip and his wife are super friendly and made us feel right at home. He organised a boat ride on the lakes and we could rent snorkeling gear to view the stunning aquarium at Kosi river mouth. The house is great with comfortable beds, clean linen and towels and everything you need to cook in the alfresco style kitchen. Great spot to stay and would highly recommend
