This was hands down the best accommodation I have ever stayed in, and for such a great price. Lovely host with spot on communication. Felt like our own little slice of paradise. Peaceful surroundings but only 10 minutes walk to Batemans Brewery and amenities in Wainfleet. Everything had been thought of with the accommodation, which was clean and well presented, and so beautifully quirky. Comfy bed, handy toilet, refreshing shower and everything we needed in our little kitchenette to make breakfast. Stable door to let the fresh morning air in, and so much more privacy than I was expecting. The chickens even joined us for breakfast. Perfect weekend, I can't wait to be back.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for one night. It was exactly what we wanted. The pictures and description matched the place. If you’re looking for a cosy spot for two, then this place would be perfect for you. We initially struggled with lighting the fire, so we sent a message asking for help. Within seconds, help arrived and were very friendly about it too. The wind did shake the Shepherd’s hut, but for us, this just made it feel more exciting. I would definitely like to go back and take a friend, as it’s so different and makes for an exciting experience.

This was the best decision I have made in a long time! Popped in on a whim whilst traveling around Lincolnshire, and could not have been happier! Absolutely would recommend to anyone even remotely interested—you will thank yourself! Mike and Heidi were very communicative and friendly despite my unusual schedule (in late, out early). Grateful for this warm hut on a windy night!
