Take it easy at this unique getaway. woodland walks, local pub/restaurant ,Micro brewery and much more to make your time away a memorable one. Relax in the countryside or take a short drive to the local town/Beach. Spend some private time relaxing in our heated swimming pool, and then retire to your own comfort of the "Cosy Cottage" for that long earned rest. Herne Bay,Whitstable towns and the city of Canterbury just 15 mins by car. Local buses run every 10mins in both directions Enjoy. You will feel like its home from home, your total private space with your own full kitchen, lounge, bathroom & Bedroom. The "Cosy Cottage" is your space. You have full personal use of the building. This Cottage once a toll house of years gone by, now transformed into the "Cosy Cottage" with character and charm for that memorable get-a-way factor.

Our short but very much enjoyed staycation was amazing and absolutely flawless from start to finish. Upon booking we were given details of the property in preparation for our arrival, which was also super smooth. The cottage is in a beautiful, private and safe location, made extra cosy with all of the amazing touches by Dave and Julie. Dave met us at the property with nothing but warm welcomes. We were given a quick tour around the property and then were left to settle into our "home" for the next few days. Despite not seeing the hosts they both still providing exceptional service, with great communication and readiness for any thing we might have required. We were given recommendations of things to do and places to see, and already cannot wait to be back again. Thank you both!

We loved our stay! It was exactly as described - a cosy cottage. The pool is such a bonus, especially with kids, David opened it up for us whenever we wanted a dip. Location is great, so close to Whitstable and Canterbury. Lovely walk just out of the house. We will definitely stay again.

I cannot find fault in this stay. David was unbelievably welcoming and so friendly. The cottage was absolutely immaculate. So many lovely welcoming touches including a bottle of wine and treats for the dog and our son. They had even put out toys for our little boy. The pool was a fabulous feature as well as the little log cabin too! Excellent location - we had days out at Herne Bay and Whitstable which were both within 15 mins. Supermarkets nearby, as well as a lovely walk! Cannot recommend enough!!

Dave was very friendly and welcoming, I felt very homely. The cottage was just beautiful and I really enjoyed swimming in the pool. The location was great, in a peaceful and quiet area, easy to get to the beach and right by a beautiful wood area. I can highly recommend this lovely cottage. Very suitable for dogs and Dave even left dog treats for my doggy and a bottle of wine which was a lovely welcome gift. One of the best stays I had as an Airbnb guest

Leave you car at the “Cosy Cottage” and take a stroll through west blean woods where the wild Bison roam. Watch and listen to the outstanding wildlife scatter as you take in the fresh air and breathtaking scenery.
Take a two minute drive along to Wildwood to get a close up encounter with the Bears and many other animals (a must during your stay)
Take a fifteen minute drive to see the breathtaking views of Reculver Towers and coastline walks (challenge yourself to walk to Minnis Bay) there’s a cafe at the end to refresh yourselves ready for the return stroll back.
