We have stayed in several ABnB over the years, for many different reasons. This time it was for our Son’s wedding. If you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet, country surrounding, with pastures and oaks during the day, peace and quiet with stars at night, this is your place! The American River is close by for the rafting adventurers. There are ATV and horse trail excursions, near by. Not to mention Placerville and Auburn breweries. And not too far of a jaunt to wine country. The best part were the hosts! A beautiful loft in their barndominion! So clean and inviting! We were graced with a plethora of snacks and refreshments. The host presented us with a beautiful bouquet upon arrival, and homemade cookies on day two. We couldn’t be any more pleased with our stay.

Carolyn is a very helpful host, responsive and accommodating. Her place is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom is large. Everything was perfect!

Carolyn and Fred are fantastic hosts. Carolyn is so responsive and helpful. I am new to the area and stayed here while looking for a longterm place to live. She went above and beyond during my stay. The apartment is private and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. There are gorgeous views from everywhere and really fun to explore. I spent many mornings and afternoons sipping coffee on the porch and watching the local wildlife while enjoying the peace and quiet. I can’t recommend Carolyn and this rental enough. I spent a great week here and would definitely return.

We’ve tried Airbnbs all over the US and across the world and this was the best experience we have had. It’s not only that the suite is perfect for a family of four, or that the surroundings are so beautiful, so peaceful, but Carolyn and Fred are the best hosts we’ve ever met. They are warm, helpful yet discreet, caring, thoughtful, with attention to every detail like the softness of the sheets and towels that made us feel pampered in country paradise :) my kids loved it there, they would wake up before the sunrise to ‘wake the sun up’ so they could go out and play. We are already planning our next outing to pilot hill. My husband wants to know how much it will cost for the rest of his life :) :)
