Perfect log cabin in the mountains. Great at home feel with everything you need and more. They were responsive and answered every question we had almost immediately. Would definitely stay again.

Wolfgang and Nancy's cabin was everything we expected and then some. We rented it during the Thanksgiving holiday with another family, and it was perfect for us. Cozy and comfortable, very well stocked. We were near the areas we waned to visit. But the best was their responsiveness and flexibility. We highly recommend them and their cabin!

Wolfgang and Nancy have a beautiful home in NC mountains. Lake Lure was beautiful. This couple was very flexible with our short notice. We needed a place for six adults. The home was comfortable with plenty of space. We had a beautiful sit down meal at their home and it was seem less and easy. My only recommendation would be to contact town hall in advance for permits to kayak, canoe or other boating activity. The advertised marina was closed on our Columbus Day weekend and we were not able to do our water sports on Lake Lure. We had to go elsewhere because we did not have the permit. This includes paddle boarding. Just FYI if going to Lake Lure you need to get that permit for any boating activity on a weekday during business hours.

Thanks so much for letting us use your home for our family getaway. We were there to do our first triathlon and the location was in perfect proximity to Lake Lure! Beautiful home and gracious hosts!
