We brought our son up for an “open ride” weekend at Woodward West (a skate camp about 20 minutes away) and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves while he was there! My daughter enjoyed an incredible horse lesson at H&S Ranch with Robin and we had a GREAT night at P-Dubs bar and Bowling alley! Super family friendly! As for the house itself, we LOVED the surroundings! It was so peaceful seeing the snow capped mountains from the kitchen and hearing the roosters in the distance. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and the sleeping arrangements were IDEAL for our party of 6! Debra was responsive and friendly and even flexible when we arrived a but earlier than expected (and checked out a wee bit later due to the time change that had us all dragging in the morning!) I highly recommend if you’re in the area and want something private and remote-feeling, but only a couple miles from restaurants and stores! Honorable mention local owned store: the Healthy Hippie! It’s charming!

We loved the serene location for our peaceful babymoon. The house was clean, stocked, beds were comfy and conveniently located to little downtown Tehachapi. The host was clear and communicative. Being able to have our dog was helpful. Although, I wish I would have read more about the stairs because our dog is blind but he figured it out. Highly recommend staying here, eating at TK's Pizza, getting coffee at Kamenz Kafe and a walk around the nature park. Would love to come back and go to the bakery when it's open. Thanks!
