The host took us to a different location and gave us a different room, which doesn’t look anything like in the pictures, in an accomodation that is actually hosted by his friend. First they gave us a room on the ground floor that had a weird smell and it was kind of dirty. It didn’t have the essentials that were listed. It didn’t even have a kitchen, just a fridge. After we complained, they moved us to a bigger room upstairs which was a bit better but still similar to the first one. Luckily, we were there for only two nights.

When we arrived Ramah said that they had problems with the Airbnb rooms due to a problem with plumbing and water and we would have to change rooms after the first night. We had not been notified of this in advance. When we made a fuss he did helpfully find us a place at an apartment just around the corner where we could stay in the same place for 2 nights. The location is great for anyone who wants to start early at Petra as we did. It was very helpful to have car parking immediately nearby. The apartment was spacious. The decor was rather old but it was fine for what we needed. Ramah communicated well about breakfast time. Breakfast was OK and brought to our room.

Logement sans prétention, dans une petite ruelle difficile à trouver (même l’hôtel juste voisin a eu du mal à nous guider), le logement est un peu vétuste, le propriétaire nous a réveillé une heure plus tôt que prévu alors que nous lui avions annoncé la veille l’heure de notre petit déjeuner… moyen… La télé ne marchait pas car les câbles d’alimentation étaient abîmés… Pour les +: petit parking privé ce qui est pas mal, et surtout la proximité avec l’entrée du site de Petra et des hôtels/restaurants et petits supermarchés du coin… En gros, j’irai juste pour dormir et visiter Petra… si vous voulez un peu + de confort…
