The layout of the Old Village is designed with safety in mind, the whole resort being pedestrianised and with 24 hour security and CCTV for additional peace of mind. There are ample parking spaces surrounding the Old Village with walkways to all apartments. In the Old Village, guests can find all they need in the local bars, restaurants, bakery and supermarket. By foot, the Vilamoura Marina is a pleasant walk. The tourist train however comes by the resort too, and a ride with Uber is around five euros. Cars can be parked in the village or or surrounding streets. A Tours and Transfers service is available to take you either on short trips to the Marina or Waterpark or further a field in the Algarve.
