My husband and I have stayed in 30+ Airbnbs over the past two years. We both agreed that this has been our all-time favorite stay! Ms Kay has such an amazing attention to detail. We were greeted to fresh flowers, a gorgeous sunroom, a coffee/tea bar, a wide range of amenities, the bathroom decor, a heated toilet, etc. It was private and just delightful. We hope our travels take us back here one day so we can have an excuse to stay here again! 😊

My wife and I spent three nights at the Respite. We didn’t want to leave. The bed was so comfortable, we had no trouble sleeping. The sun room was the perfect place to sip a cup of coffee or tea and read a book, watch the sun rise or set, or just reflect on the day’s fishing. The bathroom is better than a five star hotel. Have you ever used a heated toilet? Well, once you do, you will not want to go back to your ordinary thrown. Kathleen and Larry have thought of everything, from magnetic doorstops to the memory foam mattress to the fully stocked coffee/tea/breakfast nook and everything in between. The farmland setting with the horses and cats is peaceful and slows everything right down. But what really tops the list is Kathleen, Larry and their family. They are considerate, friendly, and you can tell that they want you to enjoy your stay. I can tell you that you will.

We had a fantastic stay. Very cute place, peaceful surroundings, and such friendly hosts (including sweet dog Holly!). We stayed for one night but would happily stay more; such great value here.

I could go on and on about how much we loved staying. The space itself was beautiful and very relaxing (even with an 8 month old baby!) Kathleen and Larry were hands down the best airbnb hosts ever. I’ve had some great hosts, but they are the very best. They were incredibly welcoming to me and my family, and we even got to know their family as well. Their property is beautiful, and they ensured that we were comfortable and could take advantage of their offerings. They made us an incredible breakfast in the morning as well. Cannot recommend their place enough!

Kathleen's home is in a country setting, which was fine with us as we weren't looking for city action after a day of driving. The photos in the listing made the space look very welcoming and I particularly wanted to see the sun room as I love the idea of having a space with light coming in on three sides. Kathleen and her husband were there to welcome us as we arrived and we got to greet Holly, the dog. The Respite room was lovely--spacious and comfortable with great attention to detail. I was happy there was a mini fridge and a nook for making coffee or tea as we often have a cup of something warm to drink in the evening. The bathroom was also roomy and beautiful. The toilet is unusual, too! A plus is that if you are a traveler with mobility issues, this space is designed with that in mind. The bed was very comfortable and it was a treat to enjoy our breakfast, which I'd brought with us, in the lovely sun room. Wish we could have stayed longer!
