Escape to the country in a cozy cabin with fantastic mountain views, private entrance & parking. Situated just over Blue Mountian from Carlisle, this cabin offers the best of the area year-round! Enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming, the Carlisle auto expo, Dickinson College, Shippensburg, Hershey Park, & more! Enjoy a week, weekend, or a night of simple relaxation. This rustic cabin is located in Free Spirit Campground in Landisburg, PA! Welcome to Birdsong Cottage! This beautiful cabin will sleep up to 4 people. One private bedroom has a queen-size bed and a full bath. In the living room, there is a daybed with a trundle bed. The kitchen has a microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven, pots, pans, dishes, mugs, a 12-cup coffee maker, and utensils for your stay. Sit on the back deck, and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. Please note: No pets or smoking allowed in cabins. Wi-Fi is available at the campground office/store and at the pool pavilion. Check-in - 3:00 pm ~ Check-out - 11:00 am

My son had a baseball tournament in the area and we decided to stay at this cabin. Friendly and responsive host Carolyn made the stay comfortable. Beautiful scenery and the highlight was the two fishing ponds where my son caught a bunch (catch and release). A great way to pass the time between games or breaks. Carolyn left an extra heater for the living room that made it nice and cozy during the colder nights. I appreciated the honesty about the spotty Internet connectivity. My MOTO Z on Verizon plan was able to get one bar of data which was enough to stream Netflix. But any heavier Internet searches took a while. It would have been nice if the deck was cleaned from all the leaves and acorns but there was a broom.
Nice cabin. Good hop off for camping. Shop before you get there.
I had a great stay at Carolyn’s place. Very clean and thoughtfully put together, complete with all the amenities for a nice relaxing stay. Carolyn was very communicative and friendly. Would recommend!

The campground is in a rural area. Grocery stores, wine and spirits, and local restaurants are about 25 minutes from the cottage.
There is parking for up to two cars next to the cabin.
There are two Italian restaurants, Dollar General, and a gas station w/ a small cafe five miles from the campground.
