Relax and take in the atmosphere of tranquil Dzhulyunitsa, a typical, rural village on the banks of the river Yantra. Enjoy strolling through the countryside, canoe down the river or go fishing. Within an hour's drive you can explore caves, monasteries, archaeological digs and hiking options. Dzhulyunitsa has a small shop selling daily necessities. There is a small pub and restaurant in Novgrad 2kms away. The nearest town is Svishtov, which has several restaurants and supermarkets. Private self contained apartment with separate entrance.

Charlotte was a lovely host who helped us with any problems. The place is hard to find but even that was manageable with the description of hers and the flat is sweet and cozy. A great place to take a weekend of and there are even a few nice thing clos by, like the Daubne River, Ruse or Weliko Tarnowo

We experienced some problems on our journey through Europe on our way to Charlotte's place, and had to reschedule several times. However, Charlotte was understanding and helpful. Charlotte was very supportive and maintained regular correspondence with us throughout our troubled journey to her lovely home. In short we found Charlotte to be genuinely kind and supportive and we would like to highly recommend her lovely home for a relaxing stay in Bulgaria. Top host and we shall definitely be back to stay with Charlotte next year.

Нам было очень приятно жить в доме Шарлотты! Чистота и комфорт, все удобства на высоте. Нашему ребёнку было интересно гулять в саду, возле пруда с собакой и котом.

保加利亚, Ruse, Dzhulyunitsa

My house is on the edge of a small village (approx. 150 people). It is a typical Bulgarian village with some real characters! There is a small shop where locals gather, have a coffee/beer and generally watch the world go by.
Below the village runs the Yantra river (about 5 mins walk from the Airbnb), ideal for activities such as fishing, swimming and picnic/BBQ.
There are a few good walks around the area where you can take in the view and spot how many species of birds you can identify!
The village is also just off the official Dunav Ultra Cycle route.
Please ask me for directions before arrival as digital maps don't recognise my exact location.

出行信息

Dzhulyunitsa is approximately 3 and a half hours from Sofia and 3 hours from Varna. There are regular coaches from both cities to Veliko Tarnovo and Ruse both of which are about an hour from Dzhulyunitsa.
There is a limited bus service to Svishtov and Ruse. From Svishtov you can get buses to Veliko Tarnovo and connecting buses to the majority of destinations in Bulgaria.
If required a local will taxi you around for a fee.
It is ideal to have your own transport but arrangements can be made so that sightseeing/shopping/eating out is facilitated.
