Unwind and relax with friends & family at this peaceful mid-century modern home. Nestled along the Gunpowder Falls State Park you can enjoy long summer days lounging in the pool under a canopy of trees or take an adventure along the hiking trails easily accessible from the back yard. Although there is no reason to leave this oasis, shopping and restaurants are only a five-minute drive away. Enjoy the beauty of nature without giving up modern comforts in this 4 bedroom, 3 bath home. This fully updated Mid-Century Modern home, with built-in pool, is situated on 1/2 an acre lot that backs up to Gunpowder Falls State Park. The open layout is well-suited for large & small families or gatherings up to 11 people. Fully furnished with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and an office space/bedroom on the upper level. The full Chef's Kitchen, with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and large eat-in island that seats 3. The adjacent dining room seats 6 people and opens to smaller deck. Additional seating for 6 is available on the upper deck. Living room is perfect for entertaining with a 65-in Smart TV, two 7-foot sofas (one is a pull-out sleeper), 2 leather chairs and ottoman. The Electric Fireplace is adjustable and adds additional heat in cooler months. The private Master Suite is located away from the living areas and has beautiful views of the canopy of trees and pool area. Private En-suite with shower/tub and large walk-in closet. The pool and hot tub are open from Memorial Day until September, depending on the weather. Seating is available for guests along the deck area. The Hot Tub is easy to use and holds 2-3 people. Some pool toys provided but we recommend you bring floatation devices for small children to ensure proper fit. Weekly pool cleaning is done on Thursdays. Fully finished lower level with walk-out to the back yard and pool. Family room with additional sleeper sofa and 55-inch Smart TV available. Board games and yoga mat provided.

Let's do a fun math equation. What does one autistic son + one military veteran spouse + one elderly mother-in-law equal? A resistance to change a new surroundings. LOL! I can honestly say my family eased into this house and felt safe, happy and enjoyed every day. I love when a property looks just like the pictures and that can be said for this particular location. Tanya was responsive and always very accommodating. Although it was during the cooler days, I enjoyed the hot tub as well as the wooded area and neighborhood. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a place to stay outside of the Baltimore area. Tanya was an excellent host, and if we ever return to this area, we will absolutely utilize her property and services.
Tanya’s place was a dream come true and a gem of a spot! House is beautifully designed with lots of natural light, windows, comfortable! It was too cold to make use of the fabulous decks, fire pit, hot tub and pool but it must be really glorious in the warmer months! Loved everything about it! Fair warning about a very steep driveway! but it added to the seclusion, a house like no other in the neighborhood and we loved the walk into the woods right there. Would love to visit again!
What a beautiful house! We spent 5 nights here while our own home was undergoing repairs and were so charmed by all the attention to detail in this home. Many AirBnB's feels sparse and unfriendly but this place had so many sweet touches. Great interior design, comfy couches, lots of pillows and throw blankets, one of the best beds I have ever slept on, excellent water pressure, and a wonderful hot tub. This place would be wonderful for a larger family or group reunion but we felt cozy with just two. Also since this place is pet friendly I would have expected some dog odor but there was NONE -- zero indication that any animals had been there at all. So nice to have the entrance to Gunpowder park right there (though be warned, there is a hill involved!) and to be closed to all the amenities of honeygo blvd while still being in a quiet neighborhood. We would love to come back sometime. Thanks, Tanya!

Parking available at top and bottom of driveway. Driveway is steep but space to turn around at bottom. Street parking is also available.
