Nice size house and the beds were comfortable. Good communication from the host, until checkout time, where no instructions were given so ended up looking for a safe place to leave the key as we had to leave. In our opinion, the stay felt like a sleep over in a house share and honestly we would not have stayed, if we could have found an alternative. I know this is a family home but we would not have expected to see so many personal items around the house, especially in the kitchen (including fresh food in the fridge), bedrooms and bathrooms. We also think the general cleanliness was low, and unsure if bedding/towels was clean, as some were stained. All our concerns are superficial and can easily be rectified but it was the state the property was presented to us for our 2 night stay.
