Dead Man’s Flats is exactly 7 minutes drive from Downtown Canmore. It’s a good 20-30 minutes to downtown Banff. We chose this area because we wanted to be away from the chaos of the more touristy areas. We don’t mind driving. It’s peaceful but it can be tiring for some to go back and forth. The condo accommodated our family of 7 comfortably. We cooked meals. We had a great time on the hot tub. Underground parking was tight the first 2 days being the weekend but got better when everyone left for the rest of the week. Place is clean, beds were comfy, 2 bedrooms upstairs, murphy bed & pull out coach downstairs. Stairs is a little steep, but I had 2 seniors in my family that did the stairs without issues. Instructions were clear and the hosts are very responsive. Thank you for the welcome basket that included coffee. We arrived late and didn’t have time to stop by the grocery yet, coffee helped the next morning. Thank you for having us!

Louise & Mike’s place is very cozy and has a lot of amenities. Mike had clear instructions and was very responsive. We just had a bit of trouble with the smell of the linens and we let them know right away. Nonetheless, it was a great stay!
