We had a lovely break in this beautiful period property. Great location to explore the Cotswolds and great host. Close to lots of picturesque villages and great pubs within walking distance.

Mickleton is a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds. There are two pubs, a convenience store and deli within easy walking distance. The charming cottage was comfortable while retaining original features. The stairs are steep and narrow but we soon got used to them. The house is well equipped and has everything you need. The foody delights for us and our furry friend were a very welcome surprise too. The bed was super comfortable and the view across the meadow is beautiful to wake up to. There are some really lovely walks from the doorstep and we were delighted to encounter deer, buzzards and red kites on our country capers.

We enjoyed our stay at The Terrace so much. It’s really cosy and quirky, garden is lovely too. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Lovely walks around the village, amazingly good food at the Butchers Arms pub, Morrisons is only a 2-3 min walk away and all the locals are extremely friendly. We explored other towns nearby and overall had a really great time. Would highly recommend.

Great value stay in the cotswolds , with a bath and a fireplace! Ticked all the boxes. Kitchen had everything you could need. Place was warm and cozy.
