The people were nice but the place was very expensive for the quality of the home. There were noticeable strong smell of bleach in the bathrooms and the mud room entry smelled like dog pee. I was there for the eclipse so the price was probably high due to demand. The place was 53 degrees when we walked in and thankfully they had a wood burning stove that did a great job testing the place. Location is awesome but the home could use a bit of work.

Beautiful home and comfortable stay. Right by the lake and the view was wonderful. The only thing I’d say missing was the dishwasher. It was tedious to wash the dishes at the end of the stay and arrange them back (as they said in the checkout instructions).. we had a 7 in our group and the dishes piled up fairly quickly.. But overall a wonderful place to stay and no regrets at all.. will book again if visiting that area in future.

absolutely beautiful house and property! the entrance road is a bit bumpy and can use some stone but the property itself was awesome! next time, we will stay in the summer or earlier in the fall in order to be able to sit outside more (it was so cold Thanksgiving weekend!).
