The place was clean, the animals were sweet, but absolutely NO PRIVACY because the host entered the place (door locked or unlocked and whether I was there or not with no to little notice) almost every day from 9 am to 8 pm to use the washer and dryer for herself and the other Airbnb laundry. The washer and dryer were listed as an amenity for the guest only. I was supposed to be there for a month, but left early due to the host not respecting my privacy even though I asked for it in person and in the chat on the app. Host walked completely into my place with no notice as I was on the phone with Airbnb safety. The wifi also repeatedly cut out for hours. The host was unresponsive when I asked her to fix it. I had to leave to another town to conduct my meetings. The back porch was usually covered in her drying laundry. The outside fire pit amenity disappeared without notice. I hope she fixes these situations for the next guests because the animal experiences were wonderful!

Elaine’s animal sanctuary is certainly a peaceful, magical place to get I tough with nature and animals. Upon arriving, we found Elaine doing extra cleaning for us as she felt it wasn’t up to her standards yet— we were able to walk around, enjoy all the beautiful & well- loved animals, and visit the gift shop. She even had a play structure, sand pile, and lots of toys for kids! That was a nice surprise. We were going to stay two nights but something in the house seemed to bother my little one & I— we can be sensitive to fragrances and chemicals so it might have been something along those lines. We opted to only stay one night but Elaine went above and beyond to make sure we had other options like a cow cuddle or another day at the farm to make up for it! The work and love Elaine has poured into her animal sanctuary is obvious from the moment you arrive. A truly unique air bnb stay 🐐🐴🐓🐖🐄

Amé compartir con los cerditos y poder pasear por la granja. Pasamos 2 días ( el primero lo pasamos en la granja y uno fuimos de excursión a san Agustín) y la verdad estuvo muy bien! Lo recomiendo

What a place to stay in the remote peaceful countryside with all the lovely animals! Never saw so many "free-ranged" pigs in different colors! Although the surroundings were more like a farm, the house we stayed is very clean, cozy and comfortable. Elaine is extremely helpful and we loved her cute gift shop where we bought feeding snacks for the cows and pigs. The next morning when we left, a pony followed us and we had a hard time to just leave. We were happy to stay and the only inconvenience is that the restaurant that is about 10 miles away and the instructions from the GPS gets confused from time to time. But Elaine gave a clear instruction and she is such a passionate host!
