Tereza was a super friendly host right from the start after she confirmed my booking. She gave recommendations for places to visit and she was very understanding and considerate of us traveling as a family with a toddler. The house was spacious, cozy and it felt like we walked into a house ready for Christmas in late November. The locally based property manager/maintenance person was also very responsive and friendly. We would highly recommend Tereza’s house!!

My son and I enjoyed a weekend at Tereza's place at the end of October. The house is well-equipped and beds were very comfortable. The location is great for exploring Cumberland. Though hilly, you can walk to the downtown area and to the C&O trail. The living room is a cozy area to relax in the evening. We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen seemed very well-equipped. One note - - the back door has two locks and two keys. We managed to lock ourselves out the first time we left the house, but fortunately Tereza's neighbor, Alica (who greeted us when we first arrived) was able to let us in. Overall it was a nice and relaxing stay.

The Art House was a great place to stay! Everything we needed, or could have needed , was available in the house. We were very comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet. There were a few unexpected detours due to bridge closures within the neighborhood, but nothing difficult to manage around. Lots of exciting improvements in process in the Historic district and along the GAP/Canal trails. We were there to ride the C&O canal and were very pleased with our experience. Definitely will be a repeat trip for us! Thank you Tereza!!

Absolutely loved the house! Great kitchen for anyone that likes to cook! Beds are very comfortable.

We visited Cumberland to ride on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad and Tereza's beautifully decorated home was perfect for us. The house was very clean and smelled amazing when we walked in. It's a beautifully decorated place that felt very much like being welcomed into a home. The house retains a lot of its quirky charm (old fashioned doors and knobs, trim on the kitchen cabinets) while still providing modern amenities. Truly the best part is the artwork all over the house, a wonderfully curated collection of paintings, objects, and accessories that made it feel very special. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and parking was directly in front of the house. Tereza herself was FANTASTIC - a wonderful communicator, quick to answer questions and provide recommendations, and a very interesting woman - I look forward to finishing her book! 5/5 - would wholeheartedly recommend!
