First off I am a cabin company owner with 7.5 years experience and thousands of 5 star ratings in Ellijay, GA. This cabin was booked as an emergency, as I made Kyle aware, for unexpected guests who showed up during the holidays on the wrong dates. (l could not turn them around and send them back to Florida, so I searched for availability and booked the only thing I could find.) This was a misunderstood booking on the part of the guests, not a double booking on my part as Kyle claimed to me! There were no other options available on short notice within 60+ miles. Their report to me: Thin mattress on the bedroom bed, cheap furniture, no hot water on arrival, not enough seating, small fridge, no closet space, no hangers, had to leave all luggage and clothes lying in the floor, no blinds or shades, absolutely no decor, cold unwelcoming feeling, no grill, no fire pit, “the sofa was the best part, we did make the best of a bad situation” quotes!! Highly over priced! 5 star, NO !!

Cabin is beautiful and brand new which we liked a lot. Beds were very comfortable and the washer and dryer were very beneficial as we'd been camping and kayaking for several days before. The cabin can't be seen from the road and there is no marker at the driveway entrance. However, there is an open gate. Once you get to the top of the first hill, go left, NOT right. There's also no cell service. The wifi worked ok for calling. We had to pull the psswd off the back of the router, though. No instructions were left and communicating with the host (w/o a wifi connection) was impossible at the property. There was also no grill or firepit that we could find and the parking is pretty tight for multiple vehicles. Overall, the location is VERY convenient to Hiwassee River. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin and were so surprised with all the extras. Not only is this a new cabin, they supplied laundry detergent, shampoos, conditioners, soap and even toothpaste. The kitchen was well stocked. We brought our own grill but I’m sure they’ll provide one later. It has a wonderful view of the river and is only minutes to the companies that offer floating the river. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!
