Beautiful huge house with a view of the ocean! Fruit trees to pick from in the yard, on the grid spoiled living minutes away from the beaches. Comfortable setting, but there are older neighbors on two sides, so limited privacy. David keeps the place going well, be prepared to do some light cleaning. Kitchen comes with basics and he even left a jar of honey from the hive in the backyard! The neighborhood is safe, but lots of hippies wandering around. Be prepared for peeps to try and bum a ride or a couple bucks lol There is a local market in Kalapana and a main strip of shops in Pahoa. Close to everything you need, adult and family adventures within driving distance. David is a super cool guy to do some front porch sitting with!!

Nice place very near the ocean peaceful and quiet and great views from the deck .. it’s also very close to town about ten min drive. I would stay here again. The house had the basics and was all that was needed for our family that stayed there. It has basic amenities and furnishings but it’s hawaii your not really at the house much anyways !
