I stayed at this airbnb and it was 5 stars. Great location and quiet surrounding. Took advantage of a great fire pit. The house was very clean and the added amenities were a bonus. When I come back to Maryland I will work my vacation around the availability of this home

The house is a great place for a family to stay to enjoy a truly beautiful part of our country. The drive up thru Virginia, WV and Maryland was very easy and had beautiful scenery of mountains and foothills. You'll love the well-equipped kitchen, living areas and very comfortable beds. It had everything we needed. We were wishing we could stay longer.

The cottage was right up against a HUGE forest, and deer were active in the yard. Located in a very rural area on a small rural road, this is the perfect place for a party of four or fewer to have a peaceful trip in beautiful surroundings. The house was perfectly appointed and clean and the whole experience would be best described as cozy. I appreciated the affordability, most airbnbs in the area cost a good bit more. I definitely recommend the stay, our time there was awesome!!

The Mountain Cottage was great for our family. It was the perfect location for us to visit historical sites like Mt. Vernon and Gettysburg as well as outdoor activities like hiking the Appalachian Trail. A quiet escape for the family.
