Lauren’s cottage is charming, cozy, and rustic. It was clean and stocked with amenities, and it looked exactly as pictured. It’s clear they care about this cottage, and we enjoyed our time there. The location makes accessing local sites and beaches pretty easy while still being in a quiet, peaceful setting. Lauren was responsive and helpful our entire stay. Check in and out were simple. House rules were clear. Our family had a miscommunication with each other, and my adult daughter arrived with two friends instead of one, making our headcount 7 instead of the house limit of 6. I alerted Lauren right away and she was nice enough to accommodate our extra person so we didn’t have to find alternate lodging. She did charge us a total of $300 extra for a three night stay. This dug into our vacation budge and altered some of our plans, so it was a hard pill to swallow. So just be clear on your headcount before you come.

Lauren’s home was the perfect getaway for our family of four! The house was quaint, peaceful and close enough in proximity to the beach, restaurants and local attractions. Our girls loved having their own space and had so much fun sleeping in the bunk beads. We fell in love with Northern Michigan!
