This lake house exceeded the pictures in this listing! It was so beautiful, clean and homey we did not want to leave. Richelle and Phil were great hosts and so helpful in person but they also left such great instructions, tips and things to do for us that it made our entire trip so relaxing and peaceful. We are already booking two trips next year to enjoy the peaceful lake house with our family!

Let me start first Richelle & Phill are very nice people, super helpful, very responsive , very kind & generous. Richelle sent me 2 pages full of suggestions if you don’t know what to do or try there. They’d answer any question you got & they’re willing to work things out with you. They welcomed us with a welcome bag which I found very cute! It’s the thought that matters 😊. As far for the place, in all honesty it is the best Airbnb that I’ve ever been to. It’s exactly like the pictures and when you go there it feels very like home and very cozy. I’m really impressed how the place is very clean like spotless.The lake is literally infront of the house. The view over there is stunning. There are enough supplies in the house.Don’t hesitate to book over there , you won’t regret it. I am definitely going back there to see it in fall time. Thank you for letting us have a good time . All I felt is positive energy . Lovedddddddd that place !!

I was blown away by their home. The pictures do not do it justice. I took my two very young children there and we spent most of our time outside either playing in the water, making a fire, or eating on the beautiful deck. The home was beautiful and you can tell a lot of care and thought went into it to make it feel like a home for guests. The hosts went above and beyond. Their thoughtfulness, care, recommendations, and communication were amazing. We stopped into the store and you could tell immediately they are just genuinely great people. Richelle even went and tried to make it as baby proofed as possible for my 1-year-old and Phil reached out to people to help me find running trails that I could take the kids on. My daughter and I are already planning on next summer’s trip and possibly a winter stay as well.

Richelle and her husband were super nice and flexible with the timing of our stay. Their thoughtfulness was unparalleled from anywhere else we have gone. The lake was beautiful and the house was lovely/cozy. We highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful time. When I had a question Richelle got back to me right away. A dishwasher would have been nice with five of us I did a lot of dishwashing. The house really needs a grill. The lake is beautiful and there is plenty to do in Hale, Oscoda, and Tawas if you get bored with the lake life!
