Commercial Drive, also known as "The Drive," is a popular street lined restaurants, cafes and shops, making it a Vancouver focus for foodies and shoppers alike. Whether you're in the mood for Italian, Thai, Vietnamese, or Mexican cuisine, you'll find something to satisfy your cravings on The Drive. You'll also find a variety of local boutiques, artisanal shops, and independent stores, giving the neighbourhood an endearing character.
In addition to its main strip, Grandview Woodland is also home to several nature paths. McSpadden Park, which is just around the corner from my home is a popular spot for picnics, dog-walking, and outdoor sports. Trout Lake, a family-friendly community hub, is a three minute drive south. You'll also find plenty of bike paths and walking trails in the area, making it easy to explore the neighbourhood and beyond.

Getting around from my home is incredibly easy thanks to its convenient location and excellent transportation options. It is a four-minute walk from Commercial/Broadway Station (Skytrain) and the 99 B-Line (Bus), which provides easy access to all of metro Vancouver. The 99 B-Line is a rapid transit bus that runs along Broadway, connecting the neighbourhood to destinations such as UBC, Kitsilano, and the downtown core. The Sky-Train can take you far into Surrey, the Tri-Cities or even connect you with the West Coast express to get into Mission. With frequent service and extended operating hours, it's a quick and reliable way to get around the city.
If you prefer to travel by bike, you're in luck! Vancouver is a bike-friendly city, and our neighbourhood is no exception. There are plenty of bike lanes and dedicated bike routes in the area, making it easy to explore the neighbourhood and beyond on two wheels. You can rent a bike from one of the many bike shops in the area, or use one of Vancouver's bike share programs, such as Mobi or Lime.
If you're driving, the home has 2 free private parking spots right on the driveway, making it easy to come and go as you please. The neighbourhood is also easily accessible from major highways, making it easy to explore other parts of the city and beyond.
