An impressive Grade II listed Rectory and link-detached 2-bed cottage situated in a commanding position in the Bourne Valley. The house has beautiful proportions throughout and is perfect for entertaining as well as family living. There is a mature woodland garden, heated swimming pool, tennis court, croquet and a bar/games studio with table tennis and darts. Cholderton has a pub, village hall and farm shop and is close to Stonehenge, Salisbury, Winchester and Stockbridge. The most fantastic air bnb we’ve stayed in. The house is gorgeous and huge! We were four families with 7 children under 10 and the place was heaven! Lots of room and the boys could run around outside, play football, play tennis, hang out in the games room, get in the pool. Great pub that’s a close walk and a farm shop that you can walk to as well. William, Grace and Lucy were amazing. They left a welcome package and were incredibly responsive when we had questions. No one wanted to leave and we’d love to come back again!
We had three generations of one family who all had a fabulous time. Beautiful house with lots of activities on site. Grace was excellent, very responsive.
Great setting for large family gathering
The Old Rectory provided an excellent venue for a large family Christmas. It is full of character, spacious, yet cosy, and has excellent amenities. The separate cottage was useful, and we had some fun in the games lodge. Despite the miserable English weather, we enjoyed several walks in the local area, and a good dinner at The Crown pub.
Lovely house with lots of room and great location - easy to get to all amenities in the area. Good for large family get together.

We are a 13 min drive from Stonehenge, one of the world's most famous historical sites. We are also 20 mins and 30 mins respectively from the cathedral cities of Salisbury and Winchester. We are 18 mins from Stockbridge which has some lovely shopping and restaurants. Cholderton itself has a rare breeds farm with lots of activities for young children. And we are 36 mins away from the New Forest national park and 38 mins away from Marwell Zoo. If you want to go to the beach on the South coast, that's a drive of just over an hour. There are nearby National Trust and English Heritage sites, like Old Wardour castle, Mottisfont, and Danebury hill fort .
You'll need a car to get around around locally, although there are good taxi services. There's no shortage of parking in the grounds of the house.
