Angela is a wonderful host, incredibly helpful and very friendly. We were visiting to attend the Badminton Horse Trials and the location was excellent. Angela went above and beyond and put a small freezer in the room so we could have cold packs in our picnic for the outings. The studio is very well equipped and the welcome pack was plentiful, far more than we expected and was a lovely touch. The bed is comfortable, bathroom and kitchen well appointed. Veranda and games room are lovely places to hang out. The local pub is also excellent, lovely food and staff, outdoor seating - ideal! We would return.

A really lovely studio to spend a couple of days or longer in. Very quiet, beautiful view across the fields behind and some thoughtful touches on arrival - bread, butter, milk, fresh coffee beans, as well as practical things - cooking oil etc. I would absolutely come back and would have spent longer in the Mallard Studio is I could 🙌 Perfect place to get away and Angela was very friendly and easy to chat to!

We needed a place to stay quickly and this property came up - it was just what was needed. Angela is a breathe if fresh air, nothing too much trouble I cannot recommend enough.

So friendly and helpful... bed was SO comfy I wanted to bring it home! Freshly made bread and a bottle of wine to greet us. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in Angela’s lovely studio. Angela is an excellent host, she’s very friendly and communicative but is very respectful of your privacy - she’ll only come over if asked, as she writes in the description. The studio itself is really spacious and the bed is extremely comfy. We stayed with our baby and she provided a travel cot which was really handy. It’s well equipped and Angela is on hand if you need anything else. The location is beautiful - her house and gardens are idyllic and there is a little pond just outside the studio that you can sit next to and have a cuppa in the morning. The only downside (we felt) is that it’s very near the motorway which you can hear and see from the property so if you were looking for somewhere extremely rural, this isn’t it, however there is lots of beautiful countryside around it, a fab pub just around the corner and it’s very well located to get to Bristol or Bath or elsewhere in the area. All in all a lovely stay!
