Stradbroke island is dear, we know that. Yet, if you are ready to spend the money, the least you expect from your property is for the air conditioning to work in all the rooms as advertised. The AC in this property needs servicing and I don’t believe we got the value for the money spent. The apartment was like a greenhouse. We couldn’t sleep in the bedroom and for that I would appreciate a partial refund of my booking. Other items: windows don’t open easily and there are no screens except for one window in the living area. The clothes line needs replacing, and a cooking pot leaks at the attachment with the handle. A spring clean could make the place more enjoyable especially the windows that have a good view, and various stains on the couch.
