El cortijo de Jhon ha sido toda una experiencia. Ubicado en una colina desde donde se veía el pueblo de Lubrín. Por la noche el cielo lleno de estrellas y los sonidos de la naturaleza eran un auténtico placer. Agradecer a Jhon que nos regalara una noche pues el apartamento no disponía de piscina. Una mención muy especial para Miguel y Agni que nos recibieron en el cortijo y respondieron a todas nuestras peticiones.

We had a very nice and relaxing stay at the appartement and the host couple staying in the main appartement were very nice and helpfull. The appartement is part of a small complex consisting of three appartements in a main house and a small detached house. The appartement itself has a perfect size for two persons, with a nice size bedroom. The appartement has two very nice private terrasses with a small bbq, one facing the perfect view over the hills, the other facing a small yard and the detached house. The terrasses are for your private use only, but if the other guests are using their terrasses at the same time you can hear/see them depending on which terrasse you/they are using. At the time of our stay it worked out ok, as the other guests was away on day trips most of the days we stayed home on the terrasse. The pool is very good for a cool off with a perfect temperature. It is part of the entrance area for the small complex which also functions as the terrasse for the main appartement which faces the pool area. It is a beautiful area with some amazing views. The scenery is very picturesque. If you want a day at the beach, we would highly recommend Playa los Muertos, its a drive for 1 hour, but with crystal clear water. Lubrin is a very cosy village, feeling very authentic with really good and cheep eating. For the best tapas head for La Tasca.

Not many words are needed to describe this holiday location ... a few to choose from could include .. Tranquil, Serene, breathtaking, outstanding natural beauty .... nestled high in the mountains 532m above sea level a small but welcoming village quite truly Andalucían and authentic, very much an unspoilt Spanish Jewel. You probably need a head for heights driving the mountain roads ... but venture down the mountains to discover beautiful sandy beaches and private coves amongst the headlands with beautiful clear tepid waters. Truly a stunning spot , I feel totally recharged and recuperated having had a wonderful week long stay.
