Charming private room with backyard views, a private bathroom, and a separate entrance. The space is cozy with a modern look, perfect for travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay. You get access to a washer and dryer on the premises, a peaceful backyard, and fast WIFI. Located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood in the heart of Oakland, our house provides a serene environment while still being conveniently close to local attractions, restaurants, and public transportation options. Your room is facing west, toward the backyard so you will get plenty of natural light. It comes with all the essentials, whether you are staying with us for a few days or a few weeks: a full-size bed, a large closet, and a desk. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable, with a very large shower.
Leah and Vladimir provided a very comfortable and peaceful room for my stay in Oakland. They gave amazingly prompt responses to all my messages and were very helpful with my check in (which was easy in any case). They maintain a lovely home. I had a busy schedule and only needed a comfortable place to get some sleep, but couldn’t have found a better spot. I used to live in the neighborhood and appreciate its unique diversity - I enjoyed discovering a new gourmet donut shop in a mostly residential area near some older markets and stores. I’ll check their listing when I visit again.
I had a joyful stay at Leah and Vlad's cozy and clean place. The neighborhood's niceness and friendliness enhanced the overall pleasant experience.
I was extremely happy with my stay. Met the host who were very nice, helpful, courteous. Room was very clean and safe. Bathroom was spotless with a huge modern shower. Cool Chinese restaurant about 5 blocks away and lovely nice woman who sold a very good burrito about 4 houses down. Excellent communication. Would definitely stay here again.
Our house is located in the Peralta Hacienda neighborhood of Oakland. The surroundings of the house are residential. There is a nice park down the street on one side, a small market, and a few eating options on the other side (great Salvadorian pupusas, a Chinese restaurant, and amazing Vietnamese street food and coffee/drinks), all within 5 minutes of walking.
